One of the best meals we have ever had in Mississippi. The staff was AWESOME! 😎 We will definitely be back and the food prices were great. A lot of value for your money. I love a meal like that. Great job Dempsey’s!!!

First visit. Had a fantastic server. Too many items to choose from so I had two appetizers, which were huge and too much to eat. The onion rings were awesome but could have been crispier. A huge portion for one person. Their homemade ranch dressing was perfect with it. Then, I had stuffed mushrooms, which were good but mushrooms hard to cut. Great taste. Husband had four huge boudin egg rolls followed by seafood bordelaise. Too much to eat. Good food but not cheap.
Second visit. Excellent service. Had fried catfish, which were very crispy and three large pieces. The mac and cheese was ok. Hush puppies were cold, not crispy and tough to eat. Better half had redfish poor boy, which was huge. He couldn't eat it all. Had sweet potatoe fries as his side, and it was a big dish. Will go again to try some other items. Tartar sauce and ranch dressing were too runny. Would not adhere to what I was eating. Prefer thicker sauces and dressings.
Have been back multiple times. Their fried catfish is awesome. Tartar sauce is now thicker and better. The lunch portion is huge and extremely filling. Have tried their crab cakes in the past and were not impressed. Had too much cake and not enough crab. Husband had chicken wrap and it was large with plenty of chicken. The fried shrimp is also very good. They don't overwhelm the fish or shrimp with heavy coating. Have tried their desserts too and they were very good. Normally too stuffed to even eat desserts.

This was our first time at Dempsey's. We were greeted by very friendly staff outside the entrance and escorted to our table by our waitress. My wife and I shared the seafood platter for one and two cups of Gumbo after our waitress said it was plenty enough for two people. Everything was delicious and we even had to use a to go box. Also they have ice cold mugs of draft beer. We will be going back again. Love this place.
We just recently attended a friends dinner with over 30 people and it was great. We were all seated in a cute cabin next to the main restaurant that worked out perfectly. Great service, food and atmosphere.

We (a group of 4) went for dinner last night. Food and service were exceptional. Our server, Chloe, was exceptionally attentive to our dining needs and most gracious. Thanks! We’ll be back!
